Autobot Step by Step

A good friend asked if I could airbrush Arcee of the transformers on a black Tee for her. So here's how I did it.

Step 1: Gather reference, 2 good pics of Arcee and my own autobot T-Shirt for the logo.

Step2: I do a light sketch of the autobot logo on the back of the Tee

Step3: I proceed to airbrush the entire autobot logo in white. I use masking tape on edges where needed to ensure a straight crisp edge.

Step4: I got carried away in my work and forgot to take a few inbetween shots here. It's my first step by step gimme a break. But I airbrushed blue fading into the white. Then did the same with pink on the lower half of the logo. I added a bit of black to the top of the pink for the contrast. I then went back with white and added the highlights.

Step5: Now it's time to do Arcee on the front of the Tee.

Step6: I do a light white pencil sketch of Arcee on the front of the tee.

Step7: Proceed to airbrushing most of her in white layering the white in some areas so the pink will pop more when done.

Step8: Here I begin to add the pink then put in some black line for details and begin to hint where my highlights will go.

Step9: Time to add some blue for shadow areas and for the eyes. I also go back with black and start to finish off the detailing.

Step10: Now it's time to finish her off with highlights and add some cosmic starry effects in the background.

Step11: Ready to be heat set my job is complete and ready to be delivered to a happy fellow Transformer fan. "Arcee gracing the front and the Autobot Logo gracing her back.

New Artists

If you haven't noticed I've added some great artists that inspire me and would like to share their work with you all.
Please click away on their names and be prepared to be blown away. Rion Vernon's Pinup Toons helped inspire me to put my gals online so more people can enjoy them. I've loved his work since I discovered his site well over a year ago. I've seen his girls grow and each one is hotter than the last. Alberto Ruiz is amazing just check him out already. Neil posis a great friend and insanely gifted. When he's not customizing figures he's creating marvel masterpieces. Chris Slade unbelievably skilled. I worked with this guy when he was a novice illustrator, now forget about it. He's ridiculously talented. See for yourself. I love all these artists and more, when you see their work you'll understand why. So stop freakin readin and check them out. You've seen my girls now move along, they'll be here when you get back.

New gals coming soon

Well today was interesting. I talked to an old friend andfound new respect. I can't believe how one person can have such an amazing impact on another person. More on that at a later date.
I have a new girl but not gonna put her up yet. I'm getting a few built up and wanna bring them all on together. I had planned to enter some art into a pinup show at the Orlando museum, however due to a hectic work schedule and exhaustion I ended up missing the dealine. I'm really tired right now and am probably gonna drop after typing this. Hopefully my new gals will be done soon and good news there'll be an addition and changes to my shop. So there'll be more gals and more shirts with gals on them availalbe soon.
Until then keep wastin yur ink, YA DIG!!!!!
